I think the steering rack placement and whatnot will interfere with a b-series motor swap...the front end of the newer civics is totally screwy compaired to the earlier ones.
it's already been done... the D16 bottom end is similar in external measurements to a B16 bottom end and doesnt interfere with engine placement.
one was showed off by HASport at SEMA to prove their mounts work.
