Stock SOHC rods are shit. After 300whp they're garbage, and it's a time bomb. Keep the power under 260whp until you have the money for rods and pistons.
PS> A T3 (48/42) isn't going to make 250whp easily. They max out right around 250whp. If you want that much power out of it get a turbo made for that power.
I'm proably going to end up doing a T3 on a small shot..The motor I have now was made to turbo (Z6 block,A6 head,Headstuds good clutch and headgasket)..So I'll go that route with some good tuning and keep it under 250hp.
