I just changed the timing belt on my car. The way mine is setup is the crank pulley has a bunch of holes in it....i stuck the handle of a pliers thru it to lock it up then stepped on a breaker bar to get it loose. it was quite easy cause all you have to is step on it and hope the handle doesnt break.
