I know from reading magazines that they don't really like black cars. They say they don't photograph well. Maybe its the same with TV. Also, it could be they didn't get that good of footage of Bill so decided not to use it.
dale earnhardt senior. he got more coverage than any other nascar driver and he had a black car. it was shown very well too.
