This is my argument. I believe that helmets offer a false sense of security in a lot of cases. I know that if I'm wearing a helmet, I'm much more prone to speed and ride behind the curve. Without a helmet, I'm much more alert. Helmet or no helmet, your head hitting the ground at any decent speed and you're likely toast. Wear one, don't wear one, it doesn't bother me, but don't make it a law. There's no reason to give up simple freedoms like that.
