My bad, I should have said the LS2 will be faster (especially after 100 miles when the rotary needs a rebuild)
I got love for the 787. Its one of my most favorite videos listening to that thing idle. But a turbocharged LS1 is good for 2000 HP and will probably make 1000 HP much more reliably than that rotary. Merely as a function of displacement.
