As far as the question about C6s ? I beat one from a 40mph roll with JUST S2 and exhuast on my car... They honestly are pretty weak IMO, more like overrated really. One thing is for DAMN SURE, they didn't dyno the Z06s 405hp LS6 on the same dyno that they used for the 400hp LS2 !!!
I've raced two C6s, and your L would beat one from any kind of "traction factor" elminating roll.
Saw one at the track run a 13.0@106mph with a 75-80LBS. driver ( no, not kidding on the driver weight ). Saw a new Z06 make a days best pass at 12.7 !!! C6 = unimpressed. Seems like magizine testing did what they seem to do best, fool everyone into jumping on the " its a xx.xx@1xxmph car" train, when its no where near that fast in FL at one of best tracks in the U.S.
What's up with guys with vettes bitching up when something starts pulling on them ? The 2nd C6 I raced, hit the gas first, got about a car and a half on me, I started to reel him in RIGHT AWAY, and when my front bumper got to his door, he let out at like 90mph... Me and the first vette hit the gas at the sametime, and he never saw the front of my car, hehehe.
