There are actually many arguments over how to properly break in your motorcycle. Many people say to wear the piss out of your engine, in order to break in all piston rings and other seals. Some say to not go over a certain RPM so you make sure nothing breaks (you have a warranty). I say, just ride the bike. Either way the bike is going to be fast.
