$8-$15!! Damn, whoever is doing that is selling themself short. I cant understand how they make any money. This is precision machining, i wouldnt even set the block up in my boring bar for $8. The $75 bore job i was refering to was for a 700cc kit,which is 3mm over. thats a lot more cutting than your .010" that you are probably speaking of for a car. A normal bore job(up to 1mm over) is around $40-$50. Prices include chamfering and honing. I dont make the prices, i just do the work. These prices are also pretty consistant for all motorcycle machine shops.
