Posting this for a buddy.
1992 Talon 5spd 6/4 combo. odometer has 120ishK, maybe 30min on a basic rebuild(stock pistons, new rings/bearings, rebuilt head) due to the ever famous valves through the pistons by the previous owner. The interior is grey cloth and is in decent shape, minus the headliner which will need to be replaced/reglued up. No sterero or speakers. Exterior is red and is in decent shape for its age. Has a few knicks and scratches, but nothing big, paint is in decent shape save for the clear coat pealing on the back bumper and spoiler..however no rust. Wheels are 2g swirlies and the tires are pretty much worn. The only mods to the car are a K&N cone filter, modified stock exhaust(catless and borla muffler), and a 2g exhaust manifold. Just before I purchased it it had the following replaced: radiator, fuel pump, and both cv axles. The ecu has zero signs of leakage. In addition to the rebuild stuff(gaskets, tbelt, etc) I also put on a new slave cylinder, fuel filter, new injector o-ring kit, new battery, and swapped out the xfercase and tranny fluid with synchromesh. The only problem with the car is the turbo is seized. I'm guessing that probably a piece of the valve is stuck in there...had planned on throwing it in the trash and just putting on a new 16g my buddy had so never bothered to investigate it too much. However it idles and drives fine otherwise, just doesn't build boost. My original plans where to rebuild it and turn it into an autocross car, but I recently moved and now have nowhere to store the car, not to mention I don't have the time to work on it anymore. As it sits I'm looking to get $1700/obo. For $2200/obo the following aftermarket parts go with it: Apexi N-1 TURBO back exhaust(yes DP and full exhaust), HKS EVC IV ebc, Hard UICP, 2g tb, 30/30 ultralite boost gauge, new rear koni yellows, new morse 2g big brake upgrade(calipers, brackets, and pads), heck I'll even throw in the car cover it has on it. Please contact me via email, as my cell is a business phone.
