Have someone scan the car with a vag com. I was getting an EPC light on the jetta. Les scanned the car and it turns out my brake switch was bad. It was fixed = no more EPC light.
I would email this other guy and see if you can get a hold of the mechanic and find out what "might" go wrong with the car.
Ive been trying to find someone with a vag com for a while now.. Ive been wanting to scan cause my car is throwing a CEL and it says "Emissions Workshop" also, so i probably have a faulty cat, bad brake switch, and a stuck caliper..
