as for trying to get your job back, it sounds like your boss(es) didn't feel the same closeness you felt to them. if they fired you for your car breaking down in the middle of a horrible day, then it sounds like they were just looking for an excuse to let you go.
I've been thinking that your theory may be correct. Medicare has been cutting the cost of the medication money they reimburse us. Therefor causing us to not have as much revenue at the end of the month. They were talking about laying people off before, and this I guess made it a very easy target.
