So, we can demo with my caprice (If I still have it) or my escalade. The escalade is a good example, because it has rear speakers, and I can a/b with and without them.
In my experience, most people think that they absolutely can't do without rear speakers. This belief is re-inforced by the fact that you can usually get bigger, louder, speakers in the rear. Most factory and aftermarket systems do need the rear speakers, but that is because of poor design and execution.
My point is that you can't beat a good front stage, for even casual listening...its not just a competition thing. Instead of speakering and amping the rear of the car, I think people should spend the money getting good, quality sound, up front.

its not that i HAVE to have them, its that i like them so A. people in the back can hear them OK, (i've listened back there and a lot of the fronties is gone, filled in by rears a little)
B. I paid good money for them back last year, i'm not really the type of person to just let go of things too easily, especially if they've served me well.
Looks like im 99% getting that 4ch amp. i was talking to Dalton about it last night, looks like ill just hook that up main and the 2ch bridged for the subwoofer... I wonder if Audiobahn's 800 watt rms is better than BOSS's 900rms.... hrrmmmm. I really do hope so. i like the audiobahn too much already but the BOSS amp isnt too bad... for all the flak i've taken from dalton for it, i would actually miss the little bugger. That and having a remote control for my sub's volume level
