I can see if I was parked inbetween them and they opened their door and hit my car. But a bike? You can probably open a door all the way and still not hit a bike if it was centrally parked in a parking spot.
you never know i had my GSXR600 2 weeks when i left it in the mall parking lot for 5 minutes just to say hi to a girl i was kind of dating. i come out to my bike laying on its side cause i think someone went to pull in to the space and wasnt paying attention hit my rear tire pushed the bike foward and knocking it over. broke my mirrior, turn signals, scratched up my plastics, bent my brake lever.
i learned real fast not to leave my bike where i couldnt see it.
