picture this: full gear on (textile jacket, helm, gloves, jeans, and boots) 98degrees in 5oclock traffic. now your already sweating you balls off on top of that you bike is at 225 degrees (kinda high and most bikes when they hit 230 shut off to protect itself.) you want to keep you and the bike moving to keep you and the bike cool. The light in front of you lets 10 cars through, and you have sat through the cycle 3-4 times already. you are very hot and dehydrated cause you have already been in traffic like this for 1 hour. What would you do
I dont need to say it, ill do it to them when they cut through traffic like that. All the bullshit reasons your giving are all part of riding a motorcycle. You accept those things the minute you turn on your bike and ride off. When you ride you know your bike is going to get hot, you know its hot outside. its not like the sun all of a sudden appears out of nowhere and makes the day hot. your in florida you know its going to be hot. I dont have any sympathy for you. Even then its no reason to break the law. My car doesnt have AC you dont see me riding on the sidewalk so i can keep moving when the light turns green do you?

you guys are real quick to point out the bikers that weave in and out of traffic, but fucking a, i've had shit box hondas, suvs, trucks, and just about any kind of 4 wheeled vehicle want me to either race them or do a wheelie.
all kinds of people weave in and out of traffic not just bike. bikers get that rep for squeezing in between cars 10ft apart when our bike is 4ft long thats not a tight fit. for a car yes for a bike no.
10ft isnt a tight fit for any car, maybe a suv or something but a typical car no. And of course we are pointing out what bikes do, this is about bikes not cars. We know people in cars are jackass's. But you dont see threads poping up about respecting cars do you? You want special treatment, earn it. If the bike aint being a jackass ill respect them, but if they start driving one like they are in a car. then expect to be treated like your in a car.
