Just to clarify this a little least you think it's unsafe (which I did when I first heard it before I got tuned)...
He records your car to his laptop while he is driving it. One button push to start, one button push to stop. Then he pulls the car over to the side, adjust the map, saves it to your ecu. Repeat as necessary. Very safe procedure.
