Default 2NR Werks S2000 Lays Down 467whp/303tq

We finally rolled this 2003 S2000 which was brought up to us from a returning customer in Ft. Myers to the dyno for final tuning. This was a challenge because we had so many issues with heat being confined to the engine bay because so much of the downpipe was located there. After many designs of a heat shield was scrubbed and thrown into the pile, we fabricated the best one to do the job. Our original underhood temps were 350 degrees, after the new shield was made we were staying under 140 degrees even while on the dyno.

This is a stock F20C with a 2 mill head gasket, GT35R, 750 injectors, AEM EMS, 3" exhaust single exit exhaust and a stock looking car other than the Precision IC up front.
We orignally used a 4" downpipe, but changed to a 3" DP because our ground clearance was minimal.

Our first pull on 93 octane yielded 404whp and after 11 pulls we tweaked the final numbers of 467whp/304tq. at 13.5 PSI. That is 19 horsepower per pound of boost. Most production turbo setups produce 11-13 horsepower per pound of boost. This car is an animal as boost and VTEC engagement hit around 4200 RPM's.

Enjoy!
