Well since I have only been looking at an eclipse for a couple of months now, I dont know to much about them so can someone explain to me what the hell a 4g63t and a 420a is. 4g63t came in 90-94 Eclipse/Talon/Laser also came in 95-99 Eclipse/Talon. Its the engine code and its the turbo based engine.
420a is the engine code and its non turbo based engine and came in the 95-99 Eclipse RS/GS and Talon Esi
90-94 Eclipse/Talon/Laser also came with a 1.8l sohc and a 2.0 4g63 non turbo based. This of course changed 95-99, which also there's an Eclipse Spyder GS that came with the 4g64 again engine code and non turbo based engine.
It wasn't a dumb question at all.
