i'm with moldy. there is always someone out there who will think that it will never happen to them.
i think jackets/long sleeveshirt should be required by law. most jackets are hot when you stop but a good textile even in september at 30+mph cools just fine.
if you think jackets are uncomfortable then dont ride. Riding a sport bike is work, your wrists and arm will ache at first. but you use your whole body to manuver the bike, if you cant deal with getting a little sweaty, there is no way your going to be able to deal with being bloody. face it crashing is part of riding, it hurts you just have to get back up on it and ride again. if you cant do that then save your self the money and dont buy a bike.
motorcycles are something we love and thats why we do it. most of us know the consequenses of our actions(thats why we wear gear), while others are a little less concerned
people just dont seem to get it, until it happens to them.
good thought but there are just too many meat heads in the motorcycle community.
