Between having to run out for gas (poor planning on my part), having to pit in half-way through a session to hydrate (probably poor planning again), and ending my last session about 15 minutes early due to just plain being tired... Most fun of the day was in the last session. I spotted a spec Miata up ahead that I thought I was gaining on... so I went fishing. Over about 5 laps, I slowly reeled him in and after riding him for another lap or so, he pointed me by. Unfortunately, about 3 laps later was when I started getting tired and making mistakes... I ended up pointing him by and bailing out soon after. Caught up with the guy in the pits, he was a newb racer and said he picked up a few things while he was following me. I felt bad that I couldn't keep it together longer to help him out some more!
Swapped my brake pads back to the street pads last night... I think I wore my brake pads more than my tires!
Damn it Loren. Damn it. You're making too damned good of an argument. I've been dying to get out to Sebring for years now and it looks like work has eased up enough to allow it. If I get addicted to this and blow my retirement fund I'm blaming your ass.
