you must be speaking of the non turboed stock motors. yes they are ghey. but they are built to be gas efficient that is thier purpose and it does very well at that. my stock gts with the 5sfe 2.2 liter gets me a good 300 miles a tank. the motor was not meant to be raced so it shall not. the 3sgte is a monster. even stock this motor untouched will stomp you srt4's silly.
