My A/C blew up last night!!
I got home from work and was watching a little t.v. when I heard a pop followed by alot of hissing. I went outside and heard it coming from under my hood. I first thought I blew a radiator hose but when I opened the hood there was oil everywhere. I found that one of my a/c lines that go to the evaporator (in the firewall) had come off. I didnt see and damage to the line or the evaporator but it was bown right off. What would cause something like this? The a/c blew ice cold with no problems before this. Do you guys think the evaporator will have to be replaced or maybe just the line? Thanks for any input. Chris
