Obviously, you are new to 'Mules'. Mules are disguised prototypes. Headlight and tailights are not usually in final prototype at this stage, and so they place whatever they want in it's place. The car's are not being tested for looks, but for comfort and interior dynamics (as there were four people in each 'mule'). I wouldn't expect those taillights to see production....not even close
