Even in the GM ecotech camp they use the 2.0ltr over the 2.2 or 2.4.

agreed but as a generality there are only 2 ways to make hp: force air in with a turbo/supercharger, or make bigger cyclinders.
and like he said ^ purpose built motors are just as good.
