I've never back-flowed stainless. I've welded stainless exhaust to steel flanges and that shit welds sooooo nice. You just crank the heat up and go. You'll get really nice beads usually. If you're welding really thin stuff then it may be beneficial, but I'll never know

Jonathan, I guess that's something else to tell you if you weld it, you'll need to run more heat than you would welding mild steel since stainless is so dense.
