The transmission in the R/T is notorious for being a P.O.S. and breaking. It just doesn't handle power well at all. Looking to upgrade. I'm looking at the Martel Brothers website ( http://www.martelbrothers.com ) and I see that they have a performance A-518 transmission. Just considering it. I definitely don't want to go back to what I just had in there. The one I bought it with broke. The brand new one I got to replace it broke in a week. I literally cracked the entire body of the transmission. So any suggestions. I've seen a guy who drilled through the right center console holdy... thingy... I don't know what I'd call that. Just a thing on the ground.. and the right slot. Anyways and he put in a Viper tremec 6 manual transmission. But the amount of work for that sounds extensive and expensive. Looking for something more like 2500 maybe 3000 dollars. Any suggestions?
