Easy to drive around town, but wild when your right foot dictates. Another 100-150 hp isn't going to be a dramatic difference in driveability. You're still going to get the same gas mileage out of boost, just more power when you're at WOT and redlining it.

A larger turbo could even be considered MORE driveable, since you can rev higher without getting into boost, which is where gas mileage and traction start to decrease.
Thanks for the reply.

At this stage I have upgraded turbos (Stage 1's) good for 500rwhp already installed. I would need just bolt ons and some really good tuning to reach 500rwhp. This will however be kind of pushing these turbos to their limit.

The 650+ would require a new turbo and some basic internal work. It wouldn't require larger cams (though its a good idea), just some stronger internals. Its said that our internals are good for 650-700 hp but its still smart to just go ahead and get stronger internals. I don't think it would cause that much of a difference in idle either way. I would not need a standalone either.

Thanks for your input, much appreciated
