It was caught in production and corrected. Unfortunatley Ford is under the microscope for this kind of shit and everything gets blown out of context.
It is easy to bash Ford but at least they make the effort with 400 + h.p. trucks and 390 h.p.. sports cars, shit is going to happen when you make cars like that. Last time I checked Nissan and Honda has been building the same 6 or so models for eternity so I hope they can get it right.
