Clifford, you can check the CAS by pulling out the CAS out while leaving the plug in. Turn the key to "ON" position. Check the voltage between terminal 1 of the plug, and the ground. Then check the voltage between terminal 2 of the plug, and the ground. While the probes are testing, you have to rotate the CAS slowly and the voltage should fluctuate between .1V and 5V. (EC-201). If that turns out good, its something else.
Epstein, thanks for the replies. All of my grounds are secure. I noticed though that the ECU terminals of 41, 51, 42, and 52 are related to the CAS input circuit. 41 and 51 relate to the 180 degree signal, and 42,52 relate to the 1 degree signal. I don't even see a wire going into 52 at all. It looks like the ECCS relay contols at least part of the CAS, and my plug is slightly broken by the the clip. I'm thinking that the 52 pinout or whatever could be my problem....
