The first twenty five minutes of starting a motor are the most critical IMO. Start it up. Get a steady idle with an ideal A/F. Check for leaks and let it get up to operating temperature once. Change the oil and change the oil filter. I recommend Supertech oil and filter for startups. Start it again. Hold it at 1,500RPM - 2,000RPM for fifteen minutes. Change the oil and change the oil filter. Use whatever oil and filter your going to use from here on out. Go street tune and/or dyno tune the car now
