hey man i too have s2 with toys and the ngk wideband. my too does go all the way down to 9.0 but thats in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Yea 9.0 = less than that normally... Its fine running rich on pump gas. the car is 11sec capable with it running rich like that, so safe is fine... Next time I get to the track, I'll lean it out on some race gas, and use my buddies 24.5'' tall slicks instead of my 22'' tall slicks that make me use 4th gear from BEFORE the 1/8 mile all the way through the traps at 6500rpms....
My car likes to run super rich off the bottle. If I lean it out beyond like 10.3 on 93oct it kicks me out of HOM. If I let it run in the 9s AFR, it will run HOM all the way to top speed on 93oct.
On race gas.... Its pretty nasty on HOM with a 12.0 AFR !!! That's all off the bottle though... I might try to run a 7.9/8.0 in the 1/8 mile pretty soon, without the bottle...
