well...i'm coming back from lakeland and traveling over the howard franklin...when a silver vanquish (not a vantage...could tell from the rear bumper) came weaving through traffic. so i'm thinking...why not stretch the colt's legs...and see what this high dollar exotic can offer?

so after about a mile of casually switching lanes...we get off the bridge and traffic opens up to the point where i get up next to him...and kinda motion like we should see how each vehicle does at 70mph. i know the colt (which is burning a little more oil than it used to...(stock motor with 100k+) isn't quite what it was about a year ago.

either way, we both get on it and in 4th gear at 70mph the colt begins to open up a lead. at 125mph he gets out of it first and is 2-3 car lengths behind.

i slow down...and give him a thumbs up...and motion like we should go again...in case he wasn't shifting at 7-8k. he kinda waved his hand like it wasn't a good idea (it wasn't) and i watched as he accelerated by me.

here is what his car looked like...btw...they sound great for a stock exhaust/stock vehicle...
