JUST FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST STAY AWAY FROM FLA NO-FAULT OR DIRECT GENERAL
i worked for progressive for 5 years. im also an insurance agent, and im sure you've heard the horror stories about these companies. ask any repair shop about progressive claims and they will tell you that they hate to do progressive work. i heard this stuff when i worked for progressive, but didnt believe it until i started working with repair shops. i was involved in an accident with a progressive employee, in the progressive parking lot, and he had progressive insurance. and while they wasted no time in cutting me a check(im sure you know that tactic, which is shady), they put a used rear bumper on my car, and i took the car to a "progressive preferred shop". i didnt know the rear bumper was used until i got into another accident and saw the shiny red paint under my gold paint.
you should also know USAA is doing horrible. when ever they do horrible, we get tons of applications, haha. they will soon be shutting down their call center in new tampa.
and +1 on fl no-fault/direct. they suck, but i did have a good claims outcome with them. i recently totalled my accord because another driver failed to yeild the right of way, he had direct. direct covered all my aftermarket parts without reciepts, just photos and links to prices. but they could have been treating me better because i was an insurance agent, and the fact that i was fully prepared for legal action.
