There are different programs, we did the one day full school. There are a lot of ancillary expenses too if you're just getting into this. Full leathers (one or two piece), boots, back protector (not required), rear stand, race prep, lodging, fresh tires (yours might be okay), etc. Between gear, school, the extra track day and travel expenses, I'm in for well over a grand for this weekend. The next track day will obviously be a lot less expensive.
