you can sleeve the block upto 78mm but for high boost application's you might just want to go 76mm(stock is 75mm) so the wall's are thicker and can handle more boost.

and you don't want to stroke it the d series already has a bad r/s ratio stoking will only make it worse.

LS rods have the same length and big end diameter as d16 rods (but much beefier). B.E. width and pin diameter is different so the rod will have to be machined and bushed to fit.

a good set-up for you is the y8 bottom end with ls rods, y8piston's, a z6 vtec head because it will lower the compression, and a homemade turbo that won't cost you very much and will run pretty good in a ef.

if you want a better set-up get a y8 bottom end, ls rods, forged pistons, y8 head, t3 turbo, dsm injector's, big fmic, a vafc , fuel pump, afpr and alot of tunning.

best set-up golden eagle sleeve's, forged pistons(je, srp), forged rods(crower, eagle), stainless steel valves, arp head studs, dsm injector's, big fmic, fuel pump, afpr, convert to obd-1 and run hondata and alot of tuning from ss.
