ARE YOU FU*KING KIDDING ME???
Dont even attempt it. You will be wasting your time, money, tires, gas, and etc. Seriously, sounds like you dont even know how many sets of tires a typical drifter go through. You obviously dont want to get rid of the accord, most likely because you cant afford a beater on the side. You ever seen a stock FR car with stock suspension trying to drift? A sh*t load of bodyroll. Stop watching those videos. Those are
professionals who actually worked hard to do what they did in their FF cars. Yet they still havent achieve the true meaning of a drift.
"the front tires are doing all the pulling and they dont lose grip."
The pulling is needed in the REAR! not the front!!! Go 45+ mph, turn sharply, floor it, and you ill achieve understeering in that accord of yours.
Drifting is (one of) the most expensive automotive sport there is.
Just stay in school, keep your eyes out for pussy, and forget drifting until you get a fr/mr/awd car. I'm serious.
I got rid of my 5th gen Accord coupe automatic SOHC Non-Vek, and picked up a S14.
The S14 wins hands down over the accord. It was a upgrade for me. The handleing is far better, and the fact that its FR makes it so pleasureful to drive around, and the rare fishtailing u-turns.
Where's that clip of me sliding in the rain in my Accord?
I tried drifting for awhile. Weight shifted, ebrake...you name it, its far too difficult, while on 240s, just turn and clutch kick it, and the car will do nothing but oversteer.
If you are autoxing, I hope to see you at the next sunrise event. Just look for the silver S14, thats me.
