You dont necessarily have to upgrade the pistons and rods to rev high. Everything is mainly in the Head when it comes to revving high. If I were you and wanted good power n/a but nothing crazy, I would get a set of cp pistons and put them on the stock rods and have them shot peened w/ arp rod bolts. As for the head I would get spring and retainers and a set of itr cams and call it a day. I would also opt. for arp head studs and dont forget the golden eagle vtec conversion. Like I said this is a simple setup and it should make simple power, nothing crazy!!
