From what I understand, the ECU reads all of the parameters of the motor, decides how much fuel flow is required, and ups the fuel pump pressure to meet the demands. So there is no return line. That is what is kicking the ass of many guys trying to put blowers on these cars. I think they've got a way around it, but I'm sure its expensive.
