I can help ya do the intake manifold, man. Pulling the distributor isn't that much of a pain in the ass, as long as you mark it when you pull it. Wanna do it this weekend providing I'm not too hungover? I think I know where my GM distributor wrench is...

Oh, get cork gaskets for the valve covers. They're not reusable, but they work well and they're cheap as a mo. When you put 'em on, tighten the bolts in an X pattern and only to like 10lbft. Any more and you'll warp the cover, crush the gasket, and start leaking.
