ok, i know my intake manifold gasket needs re-done cause 2 drunk poeple put it on lol. and i know my valve covers leaks, but no matter what i do i always have a leak from the valve covers. i bought new seals, i bought new valve covers and nothing. still leaks.i dont think im crushing them and i have the bolt spreaders too. i spent about half an hour cleaning what i could reach on the back of the block and transmission bellhouse-which is apparently tan in color instead of black lol.and im ripping my hands up cause there is like no space. and gearhead was supposed to swap out my full sweep 100 psi electric oil gauge and sender:200 $ gauge: with a 90 degree sweep 100 psi oil gauge :78 $ gauge: that i would have to re-wire everything, so im like fuck that, order me the gauge i bought from you, and i havent driven since sunday cause now it said my pressure was at 7 psi. and hitchen rides is a bitch. lol so now that i blew off some steam my main questions are: is there anything i can do for the valve covers, like is there any gaskets that wont squish. right now there is ruber gaskets on them. i know the intake involves ripping off the distributor so that aint gonna happen for a while. and when i screw the new oil pressure sensor in, how tight do i screw it in the block? thanks
