i aint going to lie to u.you really are better of just doing a 350 or 327..u say the engine make to much tq for the trans..well swap cams out..u can get cams that are more for hp or ones more for tq..i dont know how well u know engines or what your total hp&tq goal is for this..i reved my 327 to 7500rpms alot and i also made 2.2 hp for the engine witch is really un heard of with the parts i used
