Default Need some opinions

Ok I got a delima here. I have some cash saved up for a bike and i am trying to save as much as possible before i am ready to purchase one(hopefully by the time i am 19=august). The thing is I would really like to get one now. I have about 1200-1500 saved up. I work two jobs and my second job would be plenty of money to cover the cost of a bike. I dont need this second job, but its two nights a week and i make pretty good money (i deliver pizza).

Lately I feel as if I am stressing myself out because the faster I save money, the sooner I can get a bike. It seems like every single penny I find, I put away. Yet, at the same time I hate having this extra money because everytime I turn around I want to buy something else.

I know I probably sound like an 18 yr old squid but, the only reason I havnt gotten a bike now is because I havnt felt as if I am ready to take on the responsibility of owning a bike. I have used the past few months wisely, thinking about all the dangers and all the shit that happens when on a bike, up keep, maintenance, insurance etc....

Anyway my biggest question is should I wait and save the money to purchase one?
or
Should I go ahead and get a loan for $4,000 since i have the extra $1000 in cash and get a bike? This would leave me enough money for gear and the MSF course

* Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
