Hey all, im the nephew and turbokaw (the old man) is the uncle. Thanks for the info regarding the bike im still up in the air as to what i want to do with it as i am in no rush. Im working with what is almost an unlimited budget seeing as though im not putting a time limit on it, just want to take my time and do it all right. The motor is already out of the bike and the thinking process as to where i want to start is under way, i am planning a complete overhaul of the bike itself seeing as though it was wrecked and basically totaled once, and never took the greatest care of it with it being out in the weather all the time and never under cover. Not all my fault we dont have a garage or anything of the sort here so its always parked out front right under my window. But as the screen name says boosted? because i know its possible to be done just dont know the difficulty level, basically the two cars before the bike were both turbo and i kinda miss the pull it gives you when you accelerate. I mean dont get me wrong the bike pulls plenty fine but after 2 years and 25k miles you kind of want to go up and i love the yami to much to make a hayabusa appear in its place. to hp pretty much, that and I want to be able to have something that makes people go "wow thats a nice bike" and know i did it with my buddy in a garage.
