He was riding at 65-70mph according to all witness accounts, when the guy in the car decided to make a u-turn in front of him... Apparently he was too pre- occupied by a lude act his girlfriend was commiting while he was driving, and pulled in front of Ricky without even realizing it. By the time he did it was too late... Ricky died on impact, and the bike caught fire... The driver was subsequently charged with vehicular manslaugter and from what Im told, more charges are pending... Ricky was a great guy... Very nice to everyone he met, and would bend over backwards to help anyone... He will be greatly missed by his many friends, and his family...
