If he even has money. A lot of times when someone doesn't have insurance its because their either broke, can't afford it or are cheap. You can still get money for the damages. I've been hit and run before from a drunk driver who didn't have a license, no insurance, and the temp tag wasn't official. Person worked at a used car lot and took the plate and car. Their wasn't really any damage done to the car, just a scuff mark. Police called me, investigators called me, etc.... in the end I just told them I didn't want anything from the person. Since their was no real damage done to my car and I wasn't hurt it wasn't worth taking anything from the person since pretty much in the end everything was taken from the person. They got arrested, ended up spending time in jail, etc. So I knew they got what they derserved. Thats what I decided on that, many people would of done the opposite and try to take everything the person has.
