I can tell you from personal experience that Sam is not a good person for you to compare yourself too. He would never have tuned a stock 03 Cobra motor to 35 lbs on a stock bottom end. 35 lbs is just crazy. 29lbs is crazy. I took my car to Sam looking for as much power as I could get from it. He advised me of the max hp and boost he was comfortable tuning my car too with a stock short block and he wouldn't go any farther with it even though I asked him if we could. Sam values his reputaion more than the dollar. Next time someone comes to you with overly high expectations maybe you should refuse the work and the money to save your reputation. I'm sure this little episode has tarnished your rep. and cost you far more work than you made from this guy Ken. Remember your dealing with street car people not race engine experts. YOU ARE THE EXPERT HERE NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS.
