Check into the pinhole security cameras attached to a VCR/DVD/Monitor. Some of them provide their own light source. Should be less than the 2 grand previously mentioned..................*if* you can't get a loaner locally.-Bob

With unleaded gas, Most piston tops only have a thin flakey layer of carbon that almost blows away with an air nozzle.-Bob
Bob: Well, it's a boxer engine, so the plug holes are a bit more involved to get to and not open to visibility of any sort once the plugs are out unless there's a flexible camera involved... but the goal is to examine the full surface of my piston tops. Light + flexible camera required.[/QUOTE]
