'89 Trans Am GTA, $500, complete, tired (on hold as of 3/5)
I have an '89 GTA I need to sell. It's Flame Red and has all the usual GTA options. 119k miles, all stock. It blew a head gasket in 9/03 and I parked it in a carport. It was my daily driver at the time and had no other serious mechanical problems. During the time it was parked it deteriorated somewhat. Now has surface corrosion in various places. Also has rust at base of A-pillars. Needs engine rebuild. Interior is all there and uncracked but needs complete re-upholstery, carpet, headliner. Paint looks presentable at 15 feet but get up close and you see it needs to have the paint taken off and re-done. Clear Florida title in my name.
I live in an apartment and it would be economically unfeasible to pay professionals to do everything this car needs. But if you can put in the labor, you could have a sweet ride for not that much. Great project for someone. Don't let this car go to the crusher!
I think $500 is a fair price.
