I can see how war stories (lookin in as an outsider) could be so drama filled that it wasn't worth posting in or reading.. definately not something a new member would stick around for, but being as I know most of these guys it's all in good fun. However, every thread doesn't need to be hijacked just for the sake of being hijacked.
Honestly, if we're looking for the good ole days where everyone (for the most part) was level headed, responsible, and ready to race... those days are gone. I'm sure we can fill in that void with Joe Schmuck with his hyundai racing bob newguy in his new Scion... but no one cares.
If you want to look at the downfall of war stories you can look right out on any given saturday night and look at the quality of cars out there, and you've got the same quality going on in here...
Like I told you tonight...my main concern is to break that first image you mentioned....a small group (10-20) of people who bash each other and anyone else who sets foot in here. It was never like that before and we always managed to be 'the' place for kills to be posted.
Are we that anymore? Hell no. Could we be again? I don't know, but I'm sure willing to work towards it.
