That pillar is thoe nly thing i can see as a blind spot as a fc, but i have my side mirrors adjusted to compensate for it.
How does the mirror look while your driving? Do notice it? it looks really big compared to stock. It would drive me crazy if im constantly seeing it out of the corner of my eye while im driving.
